My first sculpture “baby steps” is a tribute to the sense of wonder and curiosity that I remember feeling as a child. As I worked on the piece, I became fascinated by the ways in which perspective can shift and change depending on the viewer’s vantage point. I wanted to capture that feeling of discovery and play that we all experienced taking our first steps, and to create a piece that would encourage others to tap into their inner depth, sense of wonder and imagination. Whether viewed from afar or up close, the sculpture invites us to consider the ways in which our perception of the world shifts and changes, depending on our point of view… every step of the way.
